A gathering of London's literati, friends
and family of Dora Diamant, Franz Kafka's Last Love, join
members of the Kafka family and Kafka scholars to celebrate
the publication of Dora Diamant's biography, over 20 years
in the making.

Franz Kafka's grand-nephew and executor of the Kafka
Estate, Michael Steiner and Dora's nephew, Zvi
Diamant , coming from Israel with his wife and
children, and Dora's recently discovered cousin from Denmark, Miriam
Shekter , will be meeting for the first time.
The celebration will recognize those who contributed to Dora
Diamant's first biography, Kafka's Last Love ,
written by Kathi Diamant, published by Secker & Warburg
in August 2003. Guests will include Dora's drama academy
classmate, two-time Best Actress Academy Award winner, Luise
(Louise) Rainer; leading UK and German Kafka scholars, Nicholas
Murray , author of the newest biography of Kafka,
to be published in 2004 by the British Library and Dr.
Hans-Gerd Koch , from Wuppertal, Germany, heading
the critical edition of Kafka's letters.
